Film Festival - A Taste of Peru in Paris

For the fourth year running, Pérou Pacha is presenting its Peruvian Film Festival, at the Cinéma des cinéastes in Paris from 14 to 20 November. There are almost thirty films on the programme including feature films and shorts, fictional films and documentaries. This year, the festival is introducing a new addition : "Indigenous people of Latin America". This section will enable viewers to discover films by directors of indigenous origin, that is films made in indigenous languages and hailing from Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico and Guatemala. Pérou Pacha is in the process of deciding whether to transform the festival into a travelling festival which would tour Francophone countries in order to make this rich cultural diversity accessible to as wide an audience as possible.
