Five union organizations (CGT, FSU, Solidaires, Unsa, CFTC ) announced Friday a national day of action and of demonstrations throughout the Civil Service and public administration offices on May 15th, the date already chosen by five union federations of the national education system for a strike call."
The five organizations, in a joint press release, called the personnel of three public administrations (State, Territorial and Hospitals) "to be mobilized between the 13th and the 17th of May", with a climax on Thursday 15th May, "a massive gathering stage of the mobilization, notably through strikes and/or demonstrations".
They especially denounced the proposed law imposing job mobility in the Civil Services, and "massive job redundancy", in the framework of a general revision of public policy (RGPP) of State employment.
Eighteen organizations representing teachers, high school students and parents have already called for a national day of action, the same day, in the education system against the government’s budgetary and educational policies.
