The European Central Bank has granted banks massive loans at an interest rate of 1% only and the banks have been lending the money at rates of 4 to 8%. Greece must also be offered loans at rates of 1% at most, under no other conditions than the preservation of social benefits, jobs and public services.
All the peoples of Europe are under the threat of similar austerity plans. The European Union and all the member States must therefore mobilize to preserve the future of a peoples’ Europe.
