Trump introduces his team as “the best sharks in America.”

Translated Friday 9 June 2017, by Sophie Roche

The future [1] American president’s nominations indicate that he has provocative political views that prioritise private interest and large groups. His government has keen Liberals, bankers, generals and a judge famous for wanting to get rid of immigrants.

Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, between two agents of Goldman Sachs : Steven Mnuchin (on the left) and Steve Bannon.

Donald Trump is not one for tact. He proved this once again when introducing the Cabinet he has put together who should start work from 20th January. “We have the best Cabinet in history, with by far the highest IQ of any government ever seen, and the best sharks in America”, he said. Just as he announced yesterday that his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, would become a senior advisor at the White House, the people promoted from Trump administration equally form part of Trump’s inner circle. The billionaire is said to announce today that he will leave his daughter, Ivanka (Kushner’s wife), to govern his property business during his term of office, in an effort to cover up a blatant conflict of interest. But it is not just nepotism that characterises Trump’s recruitment process. The billionaire employs not only members of his family, but also those he got close to in quite a different setting. The sharks he has chosen to drive National Liberalism (which he wants to impose on American citizens and the rest of the world) are people he knows pretty well. Just like Trump, they are mostly the Wall Street elite, and he hopes they will deal with issues swiftly and efficiently.
